Hardboiled Stakes in the Fog: The Comic
This is the latest turn of Hardboiled Stakes in the Fog — the private eye, the woman named Harker, and the impossible thing waiting on Pier Seven — now drawn as a five-page comic. The art was rendered with GPT Image 2 in a single cinematic illustrative noir style; Polyptych, my slide-and-comic pipeline, handled everything around it — Gemini broke the story into beats, pages and panels, Claude Opus 4.8 wrote the layouts and the image prompts, and the typography is baked into the panels themselves.
Read it the way you’d flip a book in a dim office: scroll to turn the page, click the index on the right to jump, or click any page to see it full size.

Five pages is not a graphic novel — it’s a teaser, a proof that the same noir can survive yet another translation: prose to slides to video to panels, each model and pipeline leaving its fingerprints on the fog. The page turns are the model’s; the story is still the one that started with a knock on a frosted-glass door.
