The Complex Perspective: 2036 is the third panel of a triptych:

1. The book — Die komplexe Perspektive (2016, German; English translation), Jörn Dinkla’s introduction to complex systems, data, AI, and the digital economy, with a draft 2026 edition.
2. The interactive edition — the present-day companion: complexity science as explorable modules and simulations, realistic in outlook.
3. This site — the futuristic panel: not the 2026 edition, but preparation for a 2036 edition. It asks one question: which human skills does AI make more valuable, and can each answer be argued from mechanisms observable today?

The method is anchored futurism, in the spirit of Realistic Futures of AI: no magic inventions, claims traced to present constraints, and a strict register system — the line — separating computation from speculation from deliberate science fiction. The site’s calibration credential is the decade test: the 2016 edition’s own claims, graded against what actually happened, misses included.

How it was made

Built with Astro and React islands; each toy’s simulation logic is pure, seeded TypeScript under test. The site was produced in collaboration with Claude (Anthropic), using the website-factory pipeline: a human-approved brief and design system, machine-drafted prose and code, independent machine review, and human editorial control throughout. The 2016 quotes in the decade test are verbatim from the first edition; translations are ours.
